Tony, it's so cool you brought up this book/movie combo! My daughters were just talking about this last week. They learn about these guys in 5th grade. I had never heard of them before and had no idea this ever happened! October Sky is one of my oldest daughter's favorite movies! She asks me to rent it or find it from the library a couple times a year!
